Buses and Subways to report other issues with an MTA bus

Real-Time Passenger Information (RTPI) electronic signs display the number of minutes until the next bus arrives at a bus stop. The signs also include a button to allow riders to hear the real-time bus arrival information.

You can report a Real-Time Passenger Information (RTPI) bus sign in need of repair.

Conditions include:

Poles that are bent, loose, or leaning
Electronic screen has wrong information
Electronic screen has no power
Display panels open, dangling, or fallen
Audio announcements too low, too loud, or not working
Graffiti

You can request a new Real-Time Passenger Information sign placed on a bus stop sign pole.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) works with the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and local elected officials to determine where to install RTPI bus signs.
